After having two beautiful children Matthew and Wendy decided to move back to the Orangeville area to be closer to family and friends and partnered with entrepreneur Jennifer Grant of Harmony Whole Foods Market, to open Forage Restaurant, with its cozy, comfortable dining atmosphere!
Matthew studied culinary arts in Paris, France, at La Varenne and has owned 4 restaurants, including Mad Apples in the Bloor west village in Toronto, and The Woodside Restaurant in the Hockley Valley. More recently Matthew was been the Head chef at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club on Vancouver Island, since 2006.
Forage has many old favourites from the Woodside menu with some added influence from the West Coast along with the healthy aspect of Harmony Whole Foods Market.
